How we handle your data.

Who we are

For the purposes of data protection, the data fiduciary is RoseBank Foundation — an organisation in formation as a Section 8 not-for-profit company in India. Until incorporation completes, the data fiduciary is Darshan Mutha, the founder convening The Montessori Collective, contactable at darshan@adityaedu.com. After incorporation, this notice will be updated with the registered name and address of the Section 8 company.

What data we collect

Only what you give us through the forms on this website.

• Contact forms (general). Your name, email, and the message you send us. Optionally a phone number.
• Register-interest forms (educators). Name, email, city, and a few sentences about your background. For founder applications: your credential, years of experience, and intent.
• School enquiry forms (parents). Your name, contact details, your child’s age range, intended start time, and any optional note you write to the school.

We do not currently set tracking cookies or run third-party analytics on this site. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated and the privacy choice will be honest and visible.

Why we collect it — and who we share it with

• General contact and educator enquiries. So we can reply to you. We retain the message until it has been responded to and any necessary follow-up is complete, after which we delete it — typically within twelve months.
• Parent enquiries about a member school. Forwarded to the school you enquired with, by email, so the school can respond directly. A copy is kept by RoseBank Foundation for the purpose of understanding demand patterns across the network. The school you enquired with becomes a separate data fiduciary for the data it then holds about you; their handling is governed by their own practices.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.

How long we keep it

As long as is reasonably needed for the purpose above, and no longer. Specific defaults:

• General contact form messages: deleted twelve months after the conversation closes.
• Educator register-interest entries: retained while the network is relevant to you; you may ask to be removed at any time.
• Founder applications: retained for the duration of the application process and, if accepted, for the duration of your participation in the cohort.
• Parent enquiry copies retained by RoseBank Foundation for demand-pattern analysis: retained in identifiable form for twelve months, then anonymised.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it is wrong;
• have it erased when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to;
• file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

Children’s data

Parents enquiring about a school may give us a child’s age range. We do not collect a child’s name, identifying details, or anything beyond what you choose to write. The DPDP Act’s heightened protections for children’s data are taken seriously: any identifiable child data would require verifiable parental consent and would be handled under the additional rules the Act sets out.

Security

Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Once received, they are held in standard secure mail and document systems. We do not transfer data outside India in a routine way; if we ever do, this page will say so and what safeguards apply.

Changes to this notice

If we make a material change — for instance, once the Section 8 incorporation completes, or if we add analytics — this notice will be updated and the “last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
